The Orange Door network is now coordinating family violence and child wellbeing support across the Inner Eastern area of Melbourne including Boroondara, Manningham, Monash and Whitehorse local government areas.
With workers from specialist family violence, child and family, Aboriginal and men’s services, The Orange Door Inner Eastern Melbourne is a partnership between:
- Anglicare Victoria
- Boorndawan Willam Aboriginal Healing Service
- Eastern Domestic Violence Outreach Service
- Uniting (Victoria and Tasmania)
- Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency
Under the current restrictions, help and support is available via phone and email, with face-to-face arrangements made if needed. In addition to the location in Box Hill, work is underway to establish face-to-face access to The Orange Door network in other suburbs in the area.

The Orange Door network is now operating in 10 areas across the state with four more to open this year. All 17 areas of the state will be operating by the end of 2022.
