Now open – The Orange Door in Wimmera

The Orange Door network is providing coordinated family violence and child wellbeing support to residents of Hindmarsh, Horsham, Northern Grampians, West Wimmera and Yarriambiack with doors now open in Horsham. 

The Orange Door in Wimmera (Wimmera South West) is a strong partnership between the Victorian Government and 

  • Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Cooperative 
  • Grampians Community Health 
  • Uniting 

Adults, children and families can get help and support in person at Horsham or by phone on 1800 271 042 and email via wimmera@orangedoor.vic.gov.au. Virtual access locations and outposted services are also planned for the area. The Orange Door is open Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm. 

The Orange Door services have been operating in the southern part of Wimmera South West area since October 2021. 

The Orange Door network is now operating in 15 areas across the state, with the remaining areas to open in 2022.
