Supporting people living across the Goulburn region, The Orange Door network is now open in Shepparton.
With workers from specialist family violence, child and family, Aboriginal and men’s services, The Orange Door Goulburn is a partnership between local service providers including:
People in Greater Shepparton, Mitchell, Moira, Murrindindi and Strathbogie local government areas, will be able to access a network of help and support through The Orange Door in person, via email or over the phone, with no referral required.
The primary site at Vaughan Central in Shepparton (entry via Vaughan Street carpark opposite Kmart/Coles), will be supported by an access point planned for Wallan, as well as outposted and outreach services across the region.
The Orange Door is a free service and can be contacted in Goulburn on
1800 634 245 or via email on goulburn@orangedoor.vic.gov.au from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm (excluding public holidays).
The Orange Door in Goulburn is the eighth area to open and six more are due to open this year. The network will be operating in all 17 areas of the state by the end of 2022.
